Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff Block Party

The Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff Block Party is an annual event hosted by Arlington’s finest public safety organizations. This event is held at the Kenmore Middle School right before the school season begins. The annual Block Party is a family-fun event that connects Arlington’s local businesses and residents to connect and meet with Arlington’s Police, Fire, and Sheriff Departments. The event is full of very engaging activities such as the distracted driving course, Kidzone, helicopter/vehicle expo, and plenty more! To promote the event and the activities, the police department were able to create 2 fun videos that you can see here.  The very popular video is with the police team showing off their great synchronized swimming skills, and the second video that is included is a ninja course that was included at the event!

As Movers Who Care, our team was able to participate in a weekend full of community service and fun! The day before the big event, our professional team volunteered some time to meet with some of the volunteers and police team to help set up for the big event by loading our trucks with donations from various vendors. On the big day, our team came out with a very engaging sharp shooter game (made of reused box supplies) and multiple giveaways for everyone. Our sharp shooter game stole the show by having multiple people wanting to play for a chance to test their shooting accuracy, and the game is a lot harder than it looks! Our team had a fantastic time at the Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff Block Party and we can not wait until next year!
